I love this article. I loved the Wonder Years as kid. I found those birds hot. Wasn’t his sister hella fine? I can’t remember, been like 20 years or so.

Ah… I’ve been trying to tell everyone about Madeline for years but no one I know remembers her. Thank you article, for proving that I haven’t lost my mind and that I had good taste even when I was 12 years old.

Kudos on the #1 pick. Madeline is bar none the best of the bunch. And in my opinion, Bonny Douglas would come in second. Sure, Winnie was incredibly hard to ignore (among other things), but on the “innocent-bitch” scale she takes the cake.

Kevin was clearly terrified of his own sexuality when he ran away from Madeline. You can’t say he was showing loyalty when he wasn’t even technically ‘attached’ with Winnie. Lame tv show. It would have been better to show his fallibility than to have him run off.

Does anyone else remember the single lady that KEvin helped paint her house? I remember thinking she was SOO hot.. I think she was a teacher if I remember correctly? I wonder what she’s up to nowadays?
I still think Winnie would be #1. Far and away she was my favourite when this show was on. Hell she still is up there in my ranking of hotest girls. (The grown up version I mean).
I’m watching The Wonder Years DVDs this summer and I think Madeline Adams was just the most beautiful thing on the show. Though Karen Arnold did deserve that 3rd spot. [=\]
I never saw the deal with Winnie to be honest. I guess everyone has different taste with regards to girls. She was too plain and riddled with so many issues.
The part when Kevin gives up on Madeline, even when Winnie treated him like a door mat was the only real unbelievable part of the show for mine.
One things for certain, Kev would have had a lot more fun if he’d taken the Becky Slater/Madeline Adams route. A LOT more fun, if you know what I mean.
