The Sentry was stalemating The Collective filled with thousands of mutants which gives you an idea of how poweful he truly is. Now let’s look at Superman vs Titus. Titus is powerful, and recently he knocked Superman out with one blow, and stood over his broken body in victory! As powerful as Titus is though, I highly doubt that he could defeat The Void.
It’s really something to think about, and it leaves me wondering if any DC Top Tier, to High Herald level character could even begin to compete with The Sentry in terms of power.
In my honest opinion The Sentry is above Superman, unless someone believes that Kal-El could stalemate Genis Vell.

What shadowhunter means, is villains Superman has defeated with lots of help. Superman rarely beats powerful villains by himself or with force. He usually outsmarts them or uses some other trickery, or else has TONS OF HELP. Sentry would crush Superman.
I will not arguee that the recent showings of the Sentry, might put him at the #1 spot.
However saying Titus could not defeat the Void is a really bold statement. I will not disagree that the Void is pretty scary, but Titus Stood up vs Superman, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Flash, Gren Lantern (John), the Atom and Batman (IN THE SECOND STORY) IN THE First stroy Titus bested Superman, Batman and the Justice League all of them from year one. So Titus is not a walk in the park
Superman vs Genis. To tell you the truth I don’t know to much about Genis to say this who will win or not, All I know is that once I saw a scan of Hulk beating the crap out of Captain Marvel and another Comic I read where The sentry was not able to defeat the Hulk. If the Sentry stalemates the Hulk and Genis I think Hulk should be here too right?

Fury : People ALWAYS forget about Superman’s Torquasms abilities. I read that Superman could actually use his Torquasm against Silver Surfer. How? Well, he could absorb the energy Silver Surfer is throwing at him and use it against him.

Modern scientist can estimate a type II supernova’s neutron core at a temperature of 100 billion K(11 GK) and they can caculate jupiter’s magnetosphere temperature at 400 million K(making it the hottest thing in our solar system). DC scientist our more advanced then real world scientist…so it just shows a lot about hot powerful Supes HV really is.
superman is gimped on all the comics but then he has to be, could you imagine how short the comics would be if he could really move at anywhere near the speed of light (speed at this level trumps everything in realistic terms – and don’t get me started on time travel – maybe Dr. Strange then?). I think pure stats, he wins (maybe Silver Surfer but then they slow him down too). Based on comic stories/battles, throw wolverine, batman and spider-man in the list because it’s all about popularity.

While you are correct on supermans feats. He is not faster than goku his heat vision and freeze breath are not destructive in form. The only form of Superman that could go toe to toe with Goku is pre crisis. Can Supermans heat vision blow up a planet? And when it comes to fighting strenght is only a small portion what is needed to win. Goku is a highly trained, highly destructive warrior. Whereas Superman is at best the finest hero in existance. Put aside your pride and tell the truth. Two reasons why Goku isn’t on the top of the list. 1 it is Japanese manga and 2 he is almost to the point where he us all powerful
Ron : Stop being so bias. Yes, Superman Heat Vision can be enought powerfull to destroy a planet. There is NO limits to it’s power. God, it already had the power of One million sun. Freeze breath not destructive? Maybe not but it gives him enought time to ZAP Goku in the Phantom Zone. You really wanna debate on this? Show us a feat that is near Mageddon or the fight against Kal-L. There is plenty more on Superman’s side.

Honestly Goku ss2 was much more than capable of destroying a solar system, this is a being who can destroy Earth simply by powering up, at SS3 he could destroy a galaxy and more and would be more than a match for everyone on this list, most if not all of them at once.
And if maybe we want to step past the “real” DB for a second and possibly include GT, SS4 Goku would annihilate everyone on this list.
Goku is the Japanese version of Superman, he has similar traits in terms of desire and always overcoming the odds. Goku has been voted over Superman more than once as well, and I doubt we can chock that all up to ignorance. Now let’s go into comparison of the two.

Broly was able to “destroy” a galaxy in the movie and then He got defeated by an amped SS2 Goku. This is of course not canon, because is part of the movie. Goku has not showings of destroying a galaxy.Even Broly’s galaxy destruction was accomplished by a domino effect not a total destruction and this so called destruction was not complete, because as shown in the movie Goku and Broly fougth on the galaxy “destroyed” by Broly, Which actually means that Broly did not destroyed a Galaxy and Goku has never destroyed a Galaxy in canon manga.

Anime characters are so different from wastern comics. and they cannot be compared.
First of all , you see goku blocking a planet busting blast with one hand and then getting burned by lava.
Why is this?
Well there is a little xplination for it.
Goku’s powers are based on KI, which is nothing similar to any type of energies used in western comics. Most anime comics are based on the same type of energy KI, which it could be represented in western comics like the will to do something.
On that regard Goku’s KI is way greater than any other Superhero in western culture.
Having said that, Goku’s defense or stamina is based against KI and all of his protections are KI based as well.
Goku is not stronger that Superman
Goku is not faster than Superman (raw speed)
Goku can teleport DURING COMBAT so he has advantage here
Goku has a better combat speed than Superman
Goku is a better fighter than Superman
With out using KI, Goku’s body is not more resistent than Superman’s

The Sentry was stalemating The Collective filled with thousands of mutants which gives you an idea of how poweful he truly is. Now let’s look at Superman vs Titus. Titus is powerful, and recently he knocked Superman out with one blow, and stood over his broken body in victory! As powerful as Titus is though, I highly doubt that he could defeat The Void.
It’s really something to think about, and it leaves me wondering if any DC Top Tier, to High Herald level character could even begin to compete with The Sentry in terms of power.

Anime characters are so different from wastern comics. and they cannot be compared.
First of all , you see goku blocking a planet busting blast with one hand and then getting burned by lava.
Why is this?
Well there is a little xplination for it.
Goku’s powers are based on KI, which is nothing similar to any type of energies used in western comics. Most anime comics are based on the same type of energy KI, which it could be represented in western comics like the will to do something.
On that regard Goku’s KI is way greater than any other Superhero in western culture.
Having said that, Goku’s defense or stamina is based against KI and all of his protections are KI based as well.
Goku is not stronger that Superman
Goku is not faster than Superman (raw speed)
Goku can teleport DURING COMBAT so he has advantage here
Goku has a better combat speed than Superman
Goku is a better fighter than Superman
With out using KI, Goku’s body is not more resistent than Superman’s
