Here he is in all his scaly glory, the Shivan Dragon. This was the first, and one of the best Dragons in the game.  He was around back when dual lands were rarer than a Third World child not adopted by Angelina Jolie.  This 5/5 flying, pumpable behemoth has been a long time favourite among the Old-Wizard staff. Each one of us has one, as does pretty much anyone has played Magic since the early days. These days however, the Shivan Dragon is almost obsolete, like an old World War II battleship. They look cool, but they can't compete with modern day weapons.  There are far better red creatures to spend a slot in your deck on. At 6 mana, Shivan is just too slow to be really effective. But, if you ever actually get one into play, your opponent is pretty much finished, as not many decks can deal with a 5/5 flier.
