Orcish Lumberjack
"I'm a lumberjack and I'm Okay!"
Card type: Creature Creature type: Orc Power/Toughness:1/1 Casting cost: Card text: TAP: Sacrifice a forest to add three mana in any combination of red and/or green to your mana pool. Play this ability as an interrupt. Oracle text: T, Sacrifice a Forest: Add three mana in any combination of R and/or G to your mana pool. Artist: Dan Frazier Rarity: Common This card is a cross between an imperial chicken walker and a buzz saw has got to be one of the coolest looking cards in the game. Its special ability isn't so bad either. It's not great, but it's not bad. If you play forests you basically get a red and green coloured dark ritual for no mana cost…As long as you sacrifice a forest. And as everyone who plays Magic: The Gathering knows, red and green go together like the wrapping paper on your favorite Christmas gift. As a matter of fact, if you are playing red and green and have an Orcish Lumberjack in your deck, you can actually get a turn three kill. How? Turn one play a forest, and then an Orcish Lumberjack. Turn two, play a forest, and then a Tinder Wall. Turn three, discard an Elvish Spirit Guide from your hand, and tap a Mountain to play a Blood Lust, attacking 10/1. Then sacrifice Tinder Wall and cast Fling (from Stronghold) and inflict the final ten damage. You get a turn three kill with all commons! Also, spending a little more money you can get a turn two Blood-Lusted Ball Lightning. So what are you going to do, when whirling death comes down on you? Our Rating:
